“Roi Thai Cooking classes” provide you with an immersive experience into traditional Thai cooking and culture. At Roi Thai, we strongly believe that these two elements are inextricably linked. Sounds, smells and tastes found in the traditional markets and eateries are symbolic of everyday life in Thailand, and shape the contour of the Thai cuisine. Thus, to fully understand and appreciate the intricacies of the Thai cuisine, it is important to become familiar with the raw ingredients used in Thai dishes, to observe Thai people whilst preparing their food and practice traditional methods of preparing Thai dishes.
Our classes are taught by the new generation of Thai Chefs, whose aim is to preserve the Thai cooking culture, inherited from the ancient Si Satchanalai, Sukhothai Province, which was the capital of the First Kingdom of Siam in the 13th and 14th centuries.We are confident that our classes will provide you with the opportunity to experience this first-hand. Our cooking classes are fun, interactive and hands-on. After each class, you will enjoy the food that you have prepared in our beachfront restaurant with the spectacular view of the Andaman Sea.
“Roi Thai Carving Classes” welcome students from all over the world to learn the culinary art of Kae Sa Lak (Fruit & Vegetable Carving). Carving classes take you from a novice to an intermediate skill level. Starting out with the simplest fruits and vegetables such as Cucumbers, Carrots, Apples and Tomatoes, you will gradually progress to Cantaloupes, Mangos and more difficult items.Join us to make your next vacation a culinary adventure and learn essential skills and techniques you can use everyday.
